For the second time this year the Supreme Court has stayed the execution of Cleve Foster hours before his appointed death. The reason was a reconsideration of the questions about his conviction. Cleve Foster is being accused of the murder of a woman he met in a bar.
In two other cases executions have been delated lately. One of them was the Cory Maples who was sentenced to death for killing two people in New York. The other one is a similar case of Daniel Cook, who also is accused of having murdered two people.
Foster's lawyer says that “Each of the cases revolves around the effectiveness of counsel". What is going to happen remains unclear.
