Saving Lives or Child- Trafficking?

Haiti has gone under terrible conditions after the recent earth quake and people all over the world are giving aid to Haiti. Americans have done a lot for Haiti in terms of aiding the country but ten U.S. missionaries were recently detained because they were accused of child-trafficking in Haiti.
Ten baptist church members from Idaho went on a missionary trip to save children in Haiti. These missionaries went throughout Haiti and took 33 Haitian children claiming that all of them were orphans and they were going to save them. This was not the case though. According to CNN all of these children were not orphans especially because many of them were crying and screaming for their parents. The missionary members claim that they did all of these out of good intentions and did not recieve any money for esentially kidnapping these children. The missionaries were caught with the bus full of people on the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The missionaries claim that they were going to start an orphanage in the Dominican Republic for these children.
Child trafficking is a big problem in Haiti and although these Americans claimed to be doing this to help the children they took them without any adoption papers or proof that these children were actually orphans. Haitian judges are still deciding if they should try these missionaries in Haiti or release them to America to be tried there. The decission is so hard because of the immense aid that American has given to Haiti and they don't want to hurt the strong relationship with America.

Although these missionaries say that what they did was out of the kindness of their heart do you think they should be tried for child trafficking? Also, because of the immense aid America has given to haiti should the missionaries be tried in Haiti or America?
